Jayden Braaf will finish the season on a rental basis at Fortuna Sittard, it is reported Football International Tuesday. The 21-year-old attacker comes from Hellas Verona, where his contract runs until mid-2026. Fortuna has yet to officially confirm his arrival.

Braaf last took action on behalf of Hellas Verona on May 14, 2023. The attacker suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury shortly afterwards and had to recuperate for months. Braaf is now fit again and wants to gain competitive rhythm at Fortuna in the coming period.

Fortuna's new acquisition left Borussia Dortmund for the Verona club in January 2023 after a turbulent period on a rental basis, before finally making the move to the Serie A club six months later. However, due to injuries, he has only played six times for the Italians, who have not agreed a purchase option with Fortuna.

Several German media reported last year after his departure from Dortmund that Braaf had made it too big at Dortmund six months after his arrival. He is said to have regularly flouted the rules, arrived late several times and damaged the team process.

Braaf previously played as a loanee for Udinese in Serie A, when he was still under contract with Manchester City. There was also dissatisfaction about Braaf's behavior off the field, which is a common thread in his career. The youngster also had disciplinary problems at PSV.

Noslin
With the arrival of Braaf, Fortuna is responding to the impending departure of Tijjani Noslin. The attacker will continue his career at Hellas Verona, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported on behalf of the Italian branch of Sky Sports. The Italian club pays three million euros to Fortuna Sittard for his services.

Noslin must succeed Cyril Ngonge in Verona. The former FC Groningen striker moved to Napoli last week for fifteen million euros.
