Tottenham Hotspur did not say goodbye to Harry Kane in the most beautiful way this summer. According to The Telegraph In the hours before he left for Bayern Munich, the thirty-year-old striker was no longer welcome at the training complex the Spurs. As a result, he could not personally say goodbye to his colleagues.

According to the daily, Kane received an email from Tottenham in the hours before the deal became final. It said it would not be appropriate for him to show his face at the Tottenham training complex while chairman Daniel Levy was negotiating. The striker was therefore unable to say goodbye to his teammates and he was also unable to collect his own belongings. They were instead sent to him by post.

In mid-August it was announced that Kane made the switch from Tottenham to Bayern, leaving the London club after no less than nineteen years. The Englishman cost the record master 100 million euros, an amount that could increase by 20 million euros in the future. It was the first time in his career that he would play outside England for Kane, who signed in Munich until mid-2027.

The 84-time international at his new club does not seem to have any or hardly any adjustment problems. During his debut – in the 0-3 loss for the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig – he was not yet able to score, but he more than made up for this in his first two Bundesliga matches: he already scored three goals and one assist.
