Ruud van Nistelrooij will rotate a lot at PSV on Thursday evening during the final Europa League match with FK Bodø/Glimt. The coach chooses to change his team in several positions. Xavi Simons, Cody Gakpo, Philipp Mwene and Anwar El Ghazi, among others, disappear from the starting eleven, while Noor Fredrik Oppegård and Noni Madueke are allowed to start. In view of the line-up, the elector seems to take into account the Eredivisie match against Ajax next Sunday.

Walter Benítez can once again defend the Eindhoven goal in Norway. The 29-year-old Argentinian has not missed a minute at PSV since his arrival and has already played 22 official games. Just like last Sunday against NEC (3-0 win), Jordan Teze is the right back, while André Ramalho and Armando Obispo form the central duo. At left back, twenty-year-old Oppegård gets the chance to show himself in his homeland. The youngster was born in the capital Oslo and has been playing for PSV since 2019.

Ibrahim Sangaré is missing in midfield due to illness. The Ivorian was not there against NEC either. Although PSV can even become group winner with a win against Bodø and a home defeat or draw by Arsenal against FC Zurich, Van Nistelrooij opts for a completely different midfield than last Sunday. Veerman keeps his place; Simons and Erick Gutiérrez make way for Guus Til and Richard Ledezma respectively.

Van Nistelrooij is also making several changes in the front. El Ghazi makes way for Noni Madueke in the right winger position. Like Luuk de Jong (calf injury), the Englishman was out for a long period with an injury, but his ankle has now fully recovered. Luuk de Jong is posted in the striker position, while Cody Gakpo will start from the bench. Johan Bakayoko completes the starting eleven.

PSV lineup: Benitez; Teze, Ramalho, Obispo, Oppegård; Veerman, Til, Ledezma; Madueke, De Jong, Bakayoko.
