Ilaix Moriba is about to be let to Valencia, so report Cadena COPE and Fabrizio Romano. The nineteen-year-old midfielder will not work at RB Leipzig and insists on a temporary departure. Moriba came to Germany on a free transfer six months ago, after the Spanish-Guinean midfielder did not want to renew his contract with Barcelona and was sold for sixteen million euros.

The route that Moriba will take is in many ways similar to that of Brian Brobbey. Both players opted to leave for Leipzig last summer, despite emphatic efforts by their previous club to keep them. In Germany, both Moriba and Brobbey had great difficulty getting into the team, making a temporary departure in January a logical next step. Brobbey, as known, opted for a temporary return to Ajax, while Moriba goes for Valencia. The latter came to a hundred playing minutes in six appearances for Leipzig.

Moriba was born in Guinea and moved to Spain at a young age, the country for which he initially also played youth internationals. At the beginning of January, Moriba switched his football nationality to Guinea, with which he was active in the Africa Cup in January. Syli Nationale stranded on Monday in the eighth final of the tournament by losing 0-1 to Gambia. This means that Moriba is immediately available for Valencia.

At Valencia, Moriba is also an alternative to Donny van de Beek. The Manchester United midfielder was approached for a loan period, but seems to be opting for Crystal Palace. Valencia is also awaiting a response from Tottenham Hotspur to his loan proposal for Bryan Gil. Samu Castillejo, who plays little at AC Milan, is also on the list of los Che.
