Ian Maatsen had a horror start in the Champions League match between Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening. The Germans' left back received a not-too-handy ball from Gregor Kobel and then simply handed it in to Rodrigo De Paul. The Argentinian took advantage of the opportunity, so Atlético quickly took the lead 1-0.
Atlético started the match excellently and fiercely. Maatsen was initially important by deflecting a shot from Álvaro Morata, but made a serious mistake in the fourth minute. The Dutchman was played by goalkeeper Kobel and simply handed in to De Paul, who simply signed for the 1-0.
