Heracles Almelo has done excellent business in the Kitchen Champion Division. The team of trainer John Lammers had no problem with TOP Oss and triumphed 3-0. Lucas Schoofs was the big man by scoring the first two goals. In the second act, Emil Hansson decided the game from the penalty spot. Thanks to the victory, the Heracmen are firmly in first place, while Oss remains stuck in seventeenth place.
The spectators in the Erve Asito saw Heracles dominate from the start. For example, Marko Vejinovic tried with a shot and Sven Sonnenberg thought he could give his team the lead before his goal was rejected for offside. After fifteen minutes of play, Hansson enabled fellow striker Samuel Armenteros to score. However, the Swede did not have his sights on and shot wide. Moments later it was still hit via Schoofs. The Belgian took advantage of miscommunication with the visitors and headed in the 1-0 from a corner kick. Just under two minutes later, Schoofs doubled the score. The midfielder was the most alert from another corner kick: 2-0. Heracles had no problem with the visitors and almost made it 3-0 via Thomas Bruns, but his shot just flew over.
Ten minutes after the break, Heracles was again the team that caused danger. Ruben Roosken passed the ball from the left flank to Nikolai Laursen, who just missed hitting the ball. After an hour of play, the decision was made. After Bruns was brought down in the sixteen-meter area, referee Sander van der Eijk pointed to the spot. Hansson then did not fail: 3-0. Fifteen minutes before the end, Schoofs seemed to take care of his third goal of the evening, but his header from a corner kick went wide. Both teams thought it was enough in the final phase and made little move to go for a goal. Oss eventually only managed one shot in the entire game.
