When Heerenveen is defeated on Wednesday, Erik ten Hag’s team will be champion of the Eredivisie for the third year in a row, regardless of the results on the other fields. The Frisians are aware of the importance of the duel, but want to sell their skin as dearly as possible. “We are not so much concerned with ruining the championship. We are working on conquering eighth place ourselves,” said interim coach Tobiasen. “There is also a match for that tomorrow. We always try to get results wherever we play.”
