Ederson jokingly talks about Manchester City’s title celebration on Thursday evening. Asked about the Champions League winners’ festivities during the press conference ahead of Brazil’s international friendly against Guinea, the goalkeeper makes no secret of his teammates’ antics. While acknowledging that Nathan Aké was the only one who did not drink, Ederson says that Ruben Diaz has looked way too deeply into the glass.

Manchester City won the Champions League for the first time in club history last Saturday. In the sold-out final in Istanbul, manager Josep Guardiola’s team won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Rodri. With the win of the Champions League, the historic treble for the Citizens was a fact. Earlier there were already images of a partying Jack Grealish and Erling Braut Haaland, among others, while Ederson will provide even more details about his partying team on Thursday evening.

“I really think that 99 percent of the players were drinking a lot, except for Nathan Aké,” says the closing post when asked at the press conference. Most players also only stopped celebrating the Champions League title on Monday. Ruben Diaz was already drunk after two shots, and he threw it all out. He even threw up in Jack Grealish’s mother’s handbag,” Ederson laughs out loud.

Ederson joined to speak about the next two international matches for Brazil. First, the Brazilian selection will take on Guinea in a friendly match, followed by the exhibition match against Senegal on Tuesday.
