Latest update:

Royston Drenthe is not happy with the behavior of Guus Til during PSV – Feyenoord, he said in a TikTok with Andy van der Meijde. Til was responsible for the 2-2 in the top match, after which he did not hold back in cheering against his former employer.

To the question 'Which PSV or Feyenoord player would you not want to go out with?' Drenthe is clear. “There can only be one, that is Guus Til. He really shouldn't be coming near me right now.”

“Just because of the fact that he used to be a Feyenoord player and now he cheers when he scores against his old club. That whole Feyenoord feeling about him has now been suppressed for me,” says the former professional footballer.

Til played on a rental basis for Feyenoord in the 2021/22 season, after which he made a permanent switch from Spartak Moscow to PSV in the summer of 2022. The Eindhoven team transferred an amount of three million euros to Russia for the midfielder's services.

“If he had been in my zone with me, we would probably have had an altercation,” said Drenthe, who is clearly not pleased with Til's behavior towards his old team.

Van der Meijde then comes up with a milder response. “I don't think I would go out with Mats Wieffer. For me he is really an ideal son-in-law, someone who works hard and never gives up. But I don't think Wieffer is much of a party animal. He is a great player, but I think he is not into going out and chasing the girls,” laughs Van der Meijde.

For Til, due to an injury, Sunday was the first minutes in the Eredivisie since the end of January. So he was immediately accurate again. So far this season he has scored eight goals and three assists in twenty Eredivisie matches.
