Hakim Ziyech has shown himself in a special way. The playmaker was brilliantly responsible for the 2-0 during the friendly match between Morocco and Georgia, by working the ball into the enemy goal from his own half. Because Youssef En-Nesyri had already scored the opening goal before and Sofiane Boufal scored from eleven meters, the game ended in 3-0. With that, Morocco seems to be in good shape towards the World Cup.

The North Africans, where Ziyech was in the base and Sofyan Amrabat, Noussair Mazraoui and Zakaria Aboukhlal started on the bench, took the lead within five minutes. A cross from Ziyech’s right side reached the far post, where Selim Amallah should have made it 1-0. The Standard Liège midfielder came close to Giorgi Mamardashvili, but the Valencia goalkeeper was unable to prevent En-Nesyri from heading in the rebound. Ziyech showed up just before half an hour. The midfielder annex attacker received the ball from about fifty meters from the Georgian goal, saw Mamardashvili in front of his goal and decided to try his luck. The leather then flew in beautifully: 2-0.

After the break, Amrabat and Mazraoui were brought on by trainer Walid Regragui. Ziyech, who played well and actively, was also a tease for the Georgian defense in the second half and the team of coach Willy Sagnol could, partly due to the absence of star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, concentrate almost exclusively on defending. Ten minutes after the break it almost led to Yahya Jabrane’s 3-0, whose header from a corner kick went just wide. Ziyech was apparently replaced in the 69th minute by Anass Zaroury, who made his international debut. Boufal made it 3-0 from a penalty kick a few minutes later. Morocco seems to be ready for the opening match at the World Cup. The opponent is Croatia on November 23.
