Erling Braut Haaland has according to BILD spent more than 500,000 euros on parting gifts for his teammates and staff at Borussia Dortmund. The striker closes the door behind him in Signal Iduna Park with a transfer to Manchester City after two and a half, but did not want to let his departure go unnoticed. Haaland has bought a Rolex for all his 33 teammates, each with a value between 13,000 and 15,000 euros.

The watches were brought to Dortmund via a special delivery from the Netherlands. The timepieces were personally fitted to the players, which was part of the service. Each watch came in a special box containing three photos. One of the images showed Haaland’s jersey number, another showed him during his signature goal celebration and the third showed the attack leader with the DFB-Pokal in hand. In addition, Haaland’s initials were printed in the box.

Dortmund staff members have not been overlooked by the Norwegian either: Haaland has bought Omega watches for them with a value between 5,000 and 7,000 euros. At the beginning of last week, Manchester City announced the arrival of Haaland through the official channels. With that, the English superpower finally has its undisputed number one in the striker position. After Harry Kane could not be released from Tottenham Hotspur last summer, the English top club focused on bringing in Haaland.

City will transfer an amount of around sixty million euros to Dortmund, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported. Haaland can join Gianluca Di Marzio the Citizens an annual salary of thirty million euros. Real Madrid was also interested in the seventeen-time Norwegian international, but the offer from the Madrilenians reportedly did not appeal to Haaland. The striker said goodbye to the crowd in Dortmund last Saturday in the game against Hertha BSC (2-1 win). He scored 86 goals in 89 appearances for the club and scored 23 goals.
