Gonzalo Higuain has finalized the agreement with Juventus on the termination of his contract, reports several international media, including Purpose and Sky Italia. The 32-year-old Argentine continues his career at Inter Miami, with which he also reached an agreement. Higuain will sign in the United States until December 2022.

Andrea Pirlo, the new Juventus coach, did not appreciate Higuain’s presence and let him know he could leave. It took a few weeks before the Italian club and Higuain reached an agreement to buy out his one-year commitment. Now that this has happened, the South American will be offered in a few days as a transfer-free addition to Inter Miami, the club of David Beckham.

With that, Juventus suffers a huge loss on Higuain, who in 2016 came to no less than ninety million euros from Napoli. The Argentine striker started strong in Turin, with 32 and 23 official goals respectively in his first two seasons. Higuain then fell out of favor and was loaned to AC Milan and Chelsea. This season the striker had to make a reserve role and he scored 11 goals in 44 official matches.

Higuaín will play at Inter Miami again with Blaise Matuidi, who also moved from Juventus to the American club from the summer. Juve is about to say goodbye to Sami Khedira, whose contract will also be terminated.
