Chelsea have booked a tense victory in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Manager Graham Potter’s team faced an early deficit in the London derby with Crystal Palace, but thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Conor Gallagher, they still took the full loot: 1-2. The Chelsea midfielder was still on loan for Palace last season. With the win, Potter’s team comes on thirteen points from seven matches and rises to fifth place.
Crystal Palace – Chelsea 1-2
At Chelsea, Potter had not made a base for Hakim Ziyech as the new manager. The coach saw how his team fell behind early on through Odsonne Edouard, who cleverly promoted a cross from Jordan Ayem to a goal at the far post. Eberechi Eze then failed twice to take the margin for the Eagles to double. Chelsea certainly couldn’t resist this in the opening phase. Southampton – Everton 1-2

Within nine minutes after the break, no fewer than three goals were scored in the St. Mary’s Stadium. First Southampton midfielder Joe Aribo found room in the penalty area to control and shoot low: 1-0. Everton immediately hit back twice. Conor Coady was able to enter the ball from close range after a free kick from the side, after which Dwight McNeil was well positioned at the far post to promote a passed cross to goal: 1-2. Twenty minutes before the end, Stuart Armstrong had a good chance to equalize, who shot over the box from within the box.
