Armando Broja leaves Chelsea and will finish the season on loan at Fulham, Fabrizio Romano, among others, reported on Thursday. The Albanian applies the Cottagers as an alternative to Sébastien Haller, who kindly thanked London for the interest.

Chelsea will collect around 4.7 million euros for temporarily letting Broja go. The striker will undergo the medical examination on Thursday evening and if he passes it unscathed, he will sign a contract until the end of the season with the number twelve of the Premier League.

Broja was also in the interest of Wolverhampton Wanderers and AC Milan, but it was Fulham that emerged as the winner. However, a transfer to Serie A may still follow in the summer. David Ornstein van The Athletic know that Milan could not strike this winter due to financial constraints, but i Rossoneri will reassess Broja's situation in the summer.

Broja tore his cruciate ligament in December 2022 and made his return for Chelsea on September 24, 2023 in the lost match against Aston Villa (0-1). Since then, the former Vitesse striker has mainly had to make do with substitute appearances. He scored once in the Premier League this season, in the away match against Fulham (0-2).

At Fulham, Raúl Jiménez is usually the number 9 of coach Marco Silva, who would like to further strengthen his selection. Fulham therefore ended up with Saïd Benrahma, but the Algerian from West Ham United opted for a rental transfer to Olympique Lyon, which also has an option to purchase.

For the striker position, Fulham turned to Borussia Dortmund for Haller, who, however, saw no benefit in a temporary switch to the Premier League. The former Ajax player is currently preparing for the quarter-final of the African Cup against Mali with Ivory Coast and did not want to think about leaving Dortmund on the final day of the transfer market.

Fulham may also lose an attacker. Former PSV striker Carlos Vinícius barely gets to play and is therefore ready for a new challenge. However, according to various English media, Fulham requires a transfer fee of more than ten million euros, which makes Vinicius fear that he will have to finish the season in London. Valencia and São Paulo, among others, are linked to the striker.
