The line-up of Barcelona for the duel with Deportivo Alavés is known. Interim coach Sergi Barjuán has made a base for Memphis Depay and Sergiño Dest, among others, who form the attack trio with Sergio Aguero. Philippe Coutinho has to settle for a place on the bench, and Óscar Mingueza fills in the right back position. The kick-off of the game in LaLiga will take place at 9 p.m. at the Camp Nou.

It will be the first game at the helm of Barcelona for Sergi, who will try to take a win with his team after two defeats in a row. The elector has decided (for the time being) not to deviate too much from the starting eleven that Ronald Koeman regularly sent into the field. Marc-André Ter Stegen defends the goal as usual, and a 4-3-3 formation is posted in front of him.

Mingueza gets a basic place in the right back position. The heart of the defense is formed by Gerard Pique and Eric García, who is preferred over Clément Lenglet. Jordi Alba is fit enough to cover the left wing. The midfield is formed by Sergio Busquets, Nico and Gavi. In the vanguard there is no place for Coutinho, who has to sit on the bench in favor of the forward Dest. Aguero is in the striker, while Depay can start from the left.

Sergi Roberto dropped out of the first game after Koeman’s dismissal with a thigh injury. The midfielder annex right back still had a basic place in the away game with Rayo Vallecano (1-0) on Wednesday evening, but is now sidelined indefinitely. Due to injuries, Sergi cannot have access to Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Martin Braithwaite, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembélé. Fati was also missing against Rayo Vallecano and is being prepared for a reunion with Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League.

Barcelona line-up: Ter Stegen; Mingueza, Pique, Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Nico, Gavi; Dest, Sergio Aguero, Depay
