Arne Slot becomes the most expensive Dutch trainer ever. Feyenoord will receive almost fifteen million euros for the coach's services, reports CBS Sports. Fabrizio Romano mentions on X an amount of between thirteen and fifteen million euros.

Feyenoord could sit high and make heavy demands on Liverpool regarding the transfer fee for the coach. Slot, who had a contract at De Kuip until mid-2026, had no escape clause in his contract.

Later in the evening, British media, including, clarified The Athletic, that it would be a package of fifteen million, with Slot yielding nine million plus two million euros including bonuses. The arrival of the rest of the technical staff (Sipke Hulshoff, Etiënne Reijnen and Ruben Peeters) would raise the amount towards fifteen million euros.

Due to the considerable transfer fee, the transfer of the technical van enters the top ten of the most expensive outgoing Feyenoord transfers ever. Fredrik Aursnes, the current number ten on that list, left for Benfica for 13 million euros.

Romano already gave his characteristic 'here we go' on X Football International earlier in the evening the verbal agreement between Feyenoord and Liverpool was confirmed. This means that nothing stands in the way of a transfer from Slot to Liverpool.
