Feyenoord has reported to Liverpool FC for Luciano Rodríguez, reports Germán García Grova from TyC Sports. The Rotterdam team has reportedly made an offer of ten million euros, which could increase to fourteen million euros through bonuses. 1908.nl writes that there is no official offer yet, but that Feyenoord has expressed its interest.

However, Uruguayan Liverpool will not agree to the offer of fourteen million euros including bonuses as of late TyC Sports know. The club wants to see fifteen million euros for the attacker and stipulate a resale percentage of thirty percent. The club goes according to 1908.nl 'sitting very high in the tree'.

Feyenoord sees Rodríguez as an option for both the striker and right wing positions, it sounds. The Uruguay youth international scored 9 goals and 6 assists in 34 games for Liverpool last season.

Rodríguez played in 25 of those 34 matches as a right winger, making it likely that Feyenoord will initially want to position him on the right flank of the attack. That is exactly the position where Arne Slot is still searching.

Javairô Dilrosun had almost completely disappeared from the picture in the first half of the season, but fought his way back into the team two games before the winter break and now enjoys Slot's confidence again. The winger paid that back with a goal in last weekend's match against NEC (2-2).

Record acquisition
If Feyenoord does indeed make off with Rodríguez this winter, the club will have to break its own transfer record. Dávid Hancko is currently the most expensive incoming transfer from the Rotterdam team. The Slovakian defender cost Feyenoord 8.3 million euros.

The reigning national champion also did business with Cercle Brugge, Dinamo Zagreb and FC Twente last summer for Ayase Ueda (8 million), Luka Ivanusec (7.8 million) and Ramiz Zerrouki (7.2 million euros) respectively. On the other hand, there was the record sale of Orkun Kökçü, who exchanged Feyenoord for Benfica for 25 million euros.
