Feyenoord is closely monitoring the developments surrounding Daniel Jebbison, reports British journalist Graeme Bailey. The twenty-year-old Canadian, youth international of England, will run out of contract with Sheffield United next summer. Jebbison has nothing to complain about interest, as he can make the switch to various top European competitions.

Jebbison was picked up by Sheffield in 2018 from Canada's ANB Futbol Academy. In recent years he has played on loan for Chorley and Burton Albion. Jebbison was particularly valuable to the latter. On behalf of the League One club, the right foot scored 9 goals in 23 official matches in the 2021/22 season.

Due to injuries, Jebbison has not yet played this season.

After that loan, Jebbison became fully part of Sheffield's main squad. Where he showed himself as a true goalkeeper in his youth, he succeeded in the main squad theBlades not yet able to score regularly. Jebbison has played 34 official games for Sheffield so far, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.

Despite his disappointing number of goals, Sheffield wants to continue with Jebbison. According to Bailey, he is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe, partly due to his expiring contract. Although there is also a lot of interest in Jebbison from England, he seems to be open to an adventure beyond the country's borders.

With Jebbison refusing to renew his contract, Sheffield are open to selling him this transfer window. The English bottom line would demand almost 500,000 euros from foreign clubs for his services. A reasonable amount for Feyenoord, but the competition is fierce.

The list of interested clubs is impressive. In Germany, Jebbison can go to Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, VfB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig, while from Italy Juventus, Napoli, Atalanta, Lazio and Genoa are said to be interested. Finally, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyon, OGC Nice, Sevilla and Girona are in line for the England Under 20 youth international.

Jebbison has not yet played for Sheffield this season, as he has been struggling with an injury for a long time. The attack leader was recently scheduled to start in the league match against Luton Town, until he unexpectedly suffered a hamstring injury. According to Sheffield manager Chris Wilder, Jebbison is still in discussions with the club about a new contract, as he recently indicated in an interview with the Sheffield Star.
