Feyenoord has rejected an initial offer from US Lecce for Javairô Dilrosun, it is reported 1908.nl. The Rotterdam team would prefer to see the wing attacker leave permanently after this season, which means that Lecce will have to come up with an improved proposal.

Lecce initially wanted to rent Dilrosun without a bond. Feyenoord saw absolutely no point in this and resolutely rejected a new proposal, renting with the option to purchase. The option to purchase, which would come into effect this summer, would amount to just over sixty percent of the purchase amount from 2022.

Dilrosun came over from Hertha BSC that summer for a reported four million euros. This means that the Italians were prepared to transfer at least 2.4 million euros next summer if they would exercise the option. However, Feyenoord is not cooperating.

The Rotterdammers only see a transfer as a possibility if there is a guaranteed transfer fee in return. Dilrosun is normally far removed from a starting place under trainer Arne Slot. The coach usually prefers Calvin Stengs or Igor Paixão for the right winger position.

1908.nl states that Lecce's interest has not diminished in the least. That has everything to do with Lameck Banda. The wing attacker, normally a regular starter under coach Roberto D'Aversa, will participate in the African Cup with Zambia later this month.

Lecce currently occupies thirteenth place in Serie A. I Salentini are six points above the finish line and are doing everything they can to keep that gap from closing.

Dilrosun in turn can get more time to play in Italy. Although the winger played frequently in the last few weeks before the winter break, his season total is only 207 minutes, spread over 8 games. Dilrosun's focus is currently on Feyenoord, which is at a training camp in Marbella.
