Feyenoord has announced the final selection for the final in the Conference League. Justin Bijlow will also travel to Tirana, where AS Roma will be the opponent on Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. The goalkeeper has not played a game at Feyenoord since the beginning of March, but has resumed group training a little less than a week ago and hopes to make it to the final. Tyrell Malacia, Gernot Trauner and Reiss Nelson, all still absent from the last league game, are also part of the selection, which has no big surprises.

Cole Bassett and Tein Troost also travel with the Rotterdam team, but are not part of the match selection. Bassett is not eligible to play and Troost has to take place in the stands as the fifth goalkeeper behind Justin Bijlow, Ofir Marciano, Valentin Cojocari and Thijs Jansen. Ramon Hendriks trained separately from the group last Thursday. However, the defender seems to have recovered in time for the final. Finally, there is a small question mark behind Philippe Sandler. He was injured in the away game at Go Ahead Eagles, but he is also one of the 23 names of trainer Arne Slot.

Dennis van Eersel, Feyenoord watcher of RTV Rijnmond, reports Monday that everyone is fit, but that it will be a race against time for Bijlow to be able to appear at the kick-off on Wednesday evening. The goalkeeper gave a very hopeful sign on Thursday by experiencing the full group training and also being part of the basic team at the closing game. Feyenoord will leave for Albania on Tuesday and will train one last time at 7:30 PM in Arena Kombëtare, normally the home of the Albanian national team. The final between Feyenoord and AS Roma will take place next Wednesday, May 25 at 9 p.m.
