Marten de Roon may be facing a nice transition within Serie A. AC Milan knows that Rade Krunic may leave the club this summer, so it has set its eyes on De Roon. That reports Relev. There is as yet no concrete interest in the Atalanta midfielder. This has everything to do with the difficult negotiations between Milan and Fenerbahçe about Krunic.

De Roon still has a contract until mid-2024 in Bergamo and given his relatively high age (32), it is expected that Atalanta will not be too high in the transfer fee. The the Dutch international should cost eight to ten million euros. How De Roon himself feels about a possible transfer is as yet unknown. The born Zwijndrechter is a valued force under trainer Gian Piero Gasperini and has already played 299 official matches for the club.

At Milan, 29-year-old Krunic, who is still committed until mid-2025, was given an important role last season. After the loss of Ismaël Bennacer, who has to watch the rest of the calendar year due to a serious knee injury, Krunic took the place of the Algerian. However, Krunic is in the emphatic interest of Fenerbahçe that the Bosnian has reportedly made an offer that cannot be refused. Krunic is open to a departure for Istanbul, but Milan is still dissatisfied with the offer from the Turkish top club. Fenerbahçe offers five million euros, while the Italians want to touch double.

If it still comes from a transfer for Krunic, De Roon can according to Relev expect a call from Milan. If De Roon does indeed move to San Siro, he will be the second Dutch summer purchase in Rossoneri. Tijjani Reijnders was also taken over from AZ earlier. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah and Tommaso Pobega can also play centrally in midfield.
