Fenerbahçe has qualified for the next round of the Europa League. In Cyprus, AEK Larnaca was sidelined 1-2. In the Conference League, Istanbul Basaksehir qualified for the next round of the Conference League. Partly due to a goal from Deniz Türüc, RFS was defeated 3-0.

AEK Larnaca – Fenerbahce 1-2
Fenerbahçe was immediately shocked in the initial phase, when Ivan Trickovski’s goal was disallowed for offside. The Cypriots then saw how the Yellow Canaries took the lead. On a pass from Ezgjan Alioski, João Pedro finished coolly by working the leather under goalkeeper Kenan Piric: 0-1. Gustavo Henrique thought to make it 0-2 not much later, but the Brazilian saw his header from a corner go wide. Fenerbahce, with Ferdi Kadioglu in the base, had little to fear from AEK before half-time.

After the break, the Turks had a harder time. In the 49th minute, Trickovski went to the ground in the box, but referee Pawel Raczkowski didn’t want to think of a penalty kick and even gave Trickovski yellow for protests. After studying the video images, the Polish arbiter decided to award a penalty. Trickovski didn’t fail: 1-1. After just under eighty minutes of play, Fenerbahçe was awarded a penalty after Giorgos Naoum made hands. Michy Batshuayi went behind the ball and made the 1-2. In the final phase, Ángel García received his second yellow card from the home team.

Istanbul Basaksehir – RFS 3-0
RFS managed to score a good point against the Basaksehir in the previous round, but soon saw hopes for a new stunt fall to pieces. It was Türüc who opened the scoring in the eleventh minute. On a pass from Stefano Okaka, the right winger cut in well from the right and his shot into the far corner turned out to be untenable: 1-0. Just before half time, the Istanbul club made it 2-0 and this time it was Okaka himself who managed to score. A nice pass from Berkay Özcan landed on the head of the Italian, who headed the ball well into the left corner: 2-0. Okaka made it 3-0 twenty minutes before time from a rebound.
