Despite a personal agreement, the transfer of Joël Drommel from FC Twente to PSV will take a while. Both clubs have still not agreed on the amount of the transfer fee of the 24-year-old keeper. Technical director Jan Streuer late in conversation with TC Tubantia know that the Tukkers are in no hurry to sell the closing item.

Drommel recently reached an agreement on a five-year contract in the Philips Stadium. FC Twente grants him a summer transfer. “That is why we have also given Joël permission to talk to PSV”, Streuer responds in the regional newspaper. Where Drommel quickly agreed on the personal conditions, the negotiations between PSV and Twente are more difficult.

“We don’t have an agreement yet,” said Streuer. “I have already read somewhere that it is only a matter of details, but that is certainly not the case. We have indicated to PSV what we want, and we are now waiting further. ” It Eindhovens Dagblad reported on Monday that both clubs are still bickering about a number of points, including the time of payment of the transfer fee, which, according to the newspaper, is approximately 3.5 million euros.

By hiring Lars Unnerstall, Twente has already acquired a successor for Drommel. Nevertheless, Streuer is in no hurry to sell Drommel. “It’s only March,” stresses Streuer. “Normally, these matters are dealt with in June / July. Again: we know what we want. ”
