There is a chance that the ways of Sven Botman and Lille OSC will part in the final week of the summer transfer market. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano will come with ‘the exclusive message’ on Wednesday evening that the defender of the French club is in the picture at both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla as a possible reinforcement for the defense.

Wolverhampton Wanderers has been talking with Olympique Marseille for some time about the possible arrival of Duje Caleta-Car. The 24-year-old defender from Croatia came over from Red Bull Salzburg three years ago for nineteen million euros. It is unclear what asking price the southern French will use for the two-year ongoing contract.

Botman would be with the Wolves in the picture as an alternative to Caleta-Car, although the Dutch youth international will not be cheap either, and certainly not in the final phase of the transfer market. Lille paid eight million euros to Ajax a year ago for the defender, who signed a contract until the summer of 2025. He appeared in his first season lesson Dogues immediately to 47 duels in all competitions, of which 45 as basic strength.

Botman did not miss a minute of the first four official matches of Lille this year of football, which will therefore demand the absolute top prize. In that context, Sevilla probably has a better chance of coming, as the Dutchman will appear, according to Romano, if Jules Koundé is sold to Chelsea. The Frenchman has a price tag of eighty million euros and with that amount the southern Spanish club has more financial options.
