Erwin Mulder continues his career at Go Ahead Eagles. The club reports this through its official channels. The goalkeeper comes transfer-free from sc Heerenveen and signs a contract for one season at the Vetkampstraat in Deventer. “As a family, we have never made it a secret that we would like to continue living in the Netherlands,” Mulder explains on the club site.

The keeper says he is delighted to be able to work at Go Ahead. “It is a club that attracted me right away. As a goalkeeper for Feyenoord and SC Heerenveen, I have scored a number of times in De Adelaarshorst. Matches in which it was clear that Go Ahead Eagles is a people’s club with fantastic supporters, who are also briefly on the field.”

Technical director Paul Bosvelt also indicates that he is satisfied. “In addition to Jeffrey de Lange and Sven Jansen, we were looking for a keeper who knows what it means to keep at the highest level and who can therefore bring competition and quality. With the arrival of Erwin, we have now been able to fill all keeper positions within the first selection. ”

Yet it seemed for a while that Mulder would not move to the Adelaarshorst, but to Denmark. The Danish Extra Bladet reported less than a week ago that the former Feyenoord player was about to sign with Aarhus GF. A contract for one or two seasons was ready in the coastal city, but Mulder still chooses to stay in the Netherlands.
