The chaos at Schalke 04 seems complete. Kicker and BILD report on Sunday morning that the finalist of the Bundesliga is making a trainer change for the third time this season. According to the latest reports, Christian Gross was fired the day after the 1-5 defeat against VfB Stuttgart, as well as technical director Jochen Schneider, team manager Sascha Riether and fitness and physical trainer Werner Leuthardt. The club from Gelsenkirchen has not yet made any announcements.
German media already wrote on Saturday that several players had revolted against Gross. The 66-year-old trainer from Switzerland was accused of constantly confusing the names of players and opponents, addressing players in the wrong language, giving poor training and regularly using the wrong match tactics.
