A fan site of FC Den Bosch wants to keep rioters out of the stadium in a special way. The cup match with Ajax is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 21:00 and supporters are asked to complete a ‘self-test’ in advance. That test has nothing to do with the corona virus.

On fcdbfans.nl it is tested whether supporters will travel to De Vliert with a positive approach. FC Den Bosch, the municipality and therefore also the supporters association are afraid that disorder will take place. “If the result is positive, please go into self-isolation on Wednesday evening and stay far away from De Vliert,” it says. The supporters are ‘tested’ by means of various questions.

There are statements such as ‘I am really looking forward to singing songs about Jews and/or cancer on Wednesday’ and ‘I am not going to sing along myself, but I actually have no problem with other supporters singing about Jews and/or cancer. After you have filled in the statements, you will receive a positive or negative advice about attending the match. If the test is positive, you will be told that it is better not to go to the stadium, so that the other people present can simply enjoy the match.

For the first time in years, a top club is coming to Den Bosch again. The local FC was relegated from the Eredivisie in 2005 and has been bivouacking at the second level in the Netherlands ever since. It is very important to the club to make positive advertising for Den Bosch, especially after last Friday. Then anti-Ajax songs were heard during the league match against Jong FC Utrecht, which caused a lot of unrest in and around De Vliert.
