Juventus booked an important victory over Verona in the Serie A on Sunday evening. The signings of Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria immediately proved their worth by scoring the goals in their first appearance: 2-0. Earlier in the day, Napoli recorded a 0-2 win at a visit to Venezia, while Atalanta lost 1-2 at home with ten men against Cagliari.
Juventus – Verona 2-0

Vlahovic was also close to his second goal of the evening on a pass from Álvaro Morata. This time he saw his shot go just wide of the right post. Despite Juventus not playing great, Vlahovic, Morata and Dybala easily found each other up front. In the second company, the home team again had the better of the game and Zakaria also asserted himself as a brand new addition by taking the 2-0.
