Juventus booked an important victory over Verona in the Serie A on Sunday evening. The signings of Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria immediately proved their worth by scoring the goals in their first appearance: 2-0. Earlier in the day, Napoli recorded a 0-2 win at a visit to Venezia, while Atalanta lost 1-2 at home with ten men against Cagliari.

Juventus – Verona 2-0
