The German branch of Sky has debunked an attention-getting rumor surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo. According to various English media, the Portuguese had talks with Bayern Munich last week, in the presence of agent Jorge Mendes. Florian Plettenberg – works for Sky Deutschland – know, however, that the German record champion is still not interested in Ronaldo for several reasons.
The English Sports mail broke the news on Monday that representatives from Bayern flew to England last week for talks with Ronaldo and Mendes. The star attacker has been struggling with a desire to leave Manchester United for some time and after the leaked interview between him and Piers Morgan, an exit at Old Trafford seems inevitable. Mendes is also said to have spoken to Newcastle United in that regard last month.
In any case, Plettenberg refers the Bayern part to the trash.
