Latest update:

Al-Nassr and in particular Cristiano Ronaldo did not waste any time on Tuesday evening. The Saudi team left no stone unturned against opponent Abha Club: 0-8. Cristiano Ronaldo was the big man with three goals and two assists, in just 44 (!) minutes.

Particularities:

Ronaldo's first two goals came from direct free kicks. His first free kick was low and hard, but through the middle. However, the speed and power of the ball completely surprised goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu (ex-AC Milan).

The second free ball, more to the left of the box, turned the Portuguese over the wall and into the left corner. Tatarusanu stood transfixed. Ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mané scored the 0-3. The Senegalese scored on Ronaldo's instructions.

Ronaldo's third goal was no less beautiful. He surprised the Romanian closing post with a clever marker: 0-4. It was his second hat-trick in a row, after he also hit the net three times against Al-Tai.

At 0-5, the Portuguese star attacker also provided the assist for Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem, meaning he was involved in all five (!) goals in 44 minutes. In the second act, Al-Nassr ran out to 0-8 without Mané and Ronaldo, who were substituted at half-time, thanks to goals from Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Abdulaziz Al Elewai (2x).
