“I am very happy to announce this contract extension, but also very proud,” said Marquinhos. “This is a very special moment for me. Paris Saint-Germain has always given me a lot of confidence and I also have a lot of confidence in this club. I am convinced that we will continue to achieve great things together in the coming years.” The French L’Equipe reports that Marquinhos will earn 14.5 million euros gross per year.
The right leg, who has been captain of the French leader since 2020, came over from AS Roma in 2013. Since then he achieved great success with PSG.
