Thorgan Hazard has tried to bring brother Eden back to Belgium, as can be seen in the docuseries Mauve. The former PSV player switched from Borussia Dortmund to Anderlecht this summer and hopes that his brother will also return to his native country. There have been rumors for some time about a possible employment relationship with Union Sint-Gillis.
Eden Hazard is still undecided on his future after being left without a club this summer with his departure from Real Madrid. The winger has been linked with several clubs, but is said to be considering a permanent farewell. Until then, Thorgan Hazard is trying to change his mind.
“I told him that it can be done in Brussels. We try to push him, but Eden is Eden,” said Thorgan Hazard, who himself is active in Brussels for Anderlecht. “I hope he will come and have a look,” Hazard chuckled. “Eden didn’t come when I played at Mönchengladbach, not in Dortmund or at PSV. Maybe he will have a lot of time later, so I hope to see him.”
Their brother Kylian Hazard also plays for RWDM in Brussels. The winger made the transfer from Cercle Brugge on a free transfer last summer. With the arrival of Eden, the trio of Hazard’s in the Belgian capital could be completed. “The whole family is happy that I’m returning so they can watch a lot of games,” Thorgan said at his presentation. “Dortmund was a bit further.”
