Young Ajax booked a hard-fought victory over Young AZ on Friday evening. Brian Brobbey was important with two goals in the 3-2 victory over the Alkmaarders. The striker also deserved a penalty, although that was not done in a fair way. Brobbey acknowledged talking to FOX Sports that he made a schwalbe, although he does not regret it at all.

When he appeared in front of the camera, Brobbey said he was hit by Young AZ goalkeeper Elber Evora. “I think I felt the goalkeeper tapping my knee and then I fell to the ground. Was it a schwalbe? I don’t know, ”said Brobbey, who admits that he made a joke after being confronted with the images. “Oh, that’s a schwalbe, yes, that’s right. The ref got it wrong. I only see it now, yes. I thought it was a violation, ”said Brobbey, who is told by the reporter that he ‘can be honest’ and ‘don’t have to lie’. “I am serious. I thought the keeper touched me ”, Brobbey responds with a laugh. “How I see it now, it was really a schwalbe.”

Brobbey started the schwalbe five minutes after the break. He then brought the score from eleven meters to 3-1. When asked if this behavior suits him, Brobbey reacts fiercely: “No, that doesn’t make any sense. If I have to cause a penalty then I just do it ”, he bites. “So you think it’s smart and sporty?” Brobbey is asked by the reporter. “Yes, I think it’s smart and sporty.” When the Ajax player is accused of ‘secretly screwing’ his opponent, he says: “What does that mean? We have to win. Ready, simple. ”

Evora shows all understanding for the action of the Ajax striker: “If I were Brobbey I would do the same. I would also try to fall, but you can clearly see that it is not a penalty. No, it is not sporty. But this is part of the game if you want to win a game ”, says Evora, whose reaction Hans Kraay junior likes. “These are two honest guys. But also Evora. He would do it too. Brobbey just didn’t notice. ” Pascal Kamperman doesn’t believe any of that. “I think so”, Kraay junior responds. “He is not too jokey. He really believed in a penalty.
