Besiktas has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Turkish Cup. The team of coach Fernando Santos fell 1-0 behind Antalyaspor, but repaired the damage thanks to a double by Jackson Muleka: 1-2.

At Antalyaspor, Sander van de Streek started on the bench. At Besiktas, an ex-Eredivisionist did appear at the kick-off: Milot Rashica. The former Vitesse attacker, like Cenk Tosun and Ante Rebic, had to find his way to eighteen-year-old striker Semih Kiliçsoy.

Cenk Tosun was the first player who came close to scoring. The former striker of Everton, among others, saw that a long ball was not processed properly by Antalyaspor's defense. The striker let the ball bounce once and swung to the far corner with his left, where goalkeeper Helton Leite made a nice save.

The match was half an hour old when Antalyaspor took the lead. Besiktas defender Umut Meras dove completely over a cross from the left. Zymer Bytyqi was suddenly given plenty of space at the far post and the Kosovar shot into the far corner with the inside right: 1-0.

Fifteen minutes after the break, Besiktas showed that they have the necessary qualities. Tosun laid off to Jackson Muleka, who turned well and passed to the uncovered Milot Rashica. The wing attacker got rid of his direct opponent with a nice move, and then shot over in complete freedom from the edge of sixteen.

Twenty minutes before the end, the redeeming equalizer came for Besiktas. Gedson Fernandes put it back to the Kosovar after a short-taken corner kick from Rashica. A sharp cross was appreciated by Muleka, who scored the equalizer with a falling header at the near post: 1-1.

Muleka, who was on the bench for the entire match against Trabzonspor last weekend, also made it 1-2 just before the end. The substitute, who relieved Rebic at the start of the second half, finished excellently by rounding goalkeeper Helton and then firing home. The assist from Tosun, who painted the ball behind Antalyaspor's last line, was also of great class.
