Eden Hazard is not yet thinking about leaving Real Madrid, reports Relev. The 32-year-old attacker is already working on the end of his football career. Hazard still has a contract until mid-2024 and would then like to hang up his shoes.

Real won the Copa del Rey for the twentieth time in club history on Saturday. The team of coach Carlo Ancelotti won the first prize of the season by putting Osasuna aside 2-1 in the final battle. There were again no playing minutes for Hazard. Ancelotti, as so often this season, kept him on the bench for ninety minutes.

The attacker strikes the Royal an annual salary of fourteen million euros, making him the best-paid player in the selection. Relev knows that Real hopes to rent or sell him next season, as his salary puts a huge pressure on the budget. However, Hazard himself would not like this. Reportedly, he would rather serve out his contract with Real and then end his football career.

Hazard did not get further than 133 minutes of play in LaLiga this season. After the victory over Osasuna, the Belgian went on a radio broadcast of Cadena Cope into his future at Real. “Do I want to serve out my contract? Naturally. It was a difficult year for me, but things like that happen in a team as strong as this one. I want to play more and I know it won’t be easy. I have to work hard.” Hazard also said that his relationship with Ancelotti and his teammates is ‘good’.

Hazard, who was taken over from Chelsea for 115 million euros almost four years ago, told the Belgian in mid-March RTBF not or hardly to speak to his trainer. “There is mutual respect, but I’m not going to say we talk to each other because we don’t,” he said at the time. “There will always be respect. Even if he decides not to let me play at all. I have to respect someone like Carlo Ancelotti for what he represents in football and what he has achieved in his career. There is no problem.”
