Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with West Ham United for the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui, reports Florian Plettenberg on behalf of Sky SportThe transfer, including bonuses, involves a hefty 20 million euros.

West Ham United will pay a fixed sum of 15.5 million euros, an amount that can increase by 4 million euros due to possible bonuses. West Ham also has an agreement in principle with Mazraoui.

However, it is not yet a foregone conclusion, Plettenberg emphasizes. Some important details still need to be finalized. All parties involved are currently working hard on this.

Manchester United are also still in the race for Mazraoui's signature. Erik ten Hag would like to see a reunion with his former pupil, but must watch as West Ham leads the race.

Mazraoui has a contract with Bayern until mid-2028. In 2022, he signed on a free transfer in southern Germany, after the defender, born in Leiderdorp, left Ajax behind.

Since then he has played 55 matches for the German top club. However, he has never been uncontroversial, and apparently he will not be under the new manager, Vincent Kompany.

At West Ham United, Mazraoui will meet two former teammates. Edson Álvarez and Mohammed Kudus made the transfer from Ajax to the London club last summer.
