The marriage between Heracles Almelo and Bilal Basacikoglu comes to an end. The winger has not yet played for the club from the Kitchen Champion Division this season and is leaving for Tuzlaspor, which plays at the second level in Turkey. Both clubs have not yet confirmed the transfer.

Basacikoglu made regular appearances on behalf of Heracles last season in the relegation year, but did not play this season. In the competition matches that the Almelo players have played, the Turkish-Dutch winger was placed in the stands. Basacikoglu can still make his desired transfer, as the window in Turkey does not close until Thursday evening. In most other countries in Europe, the transfer window closed last week.

With Tuzlaspor, Basacikoglu comes out on the second level in Turkey. The club started the season with four points from four matches and occupies fourteenth place in the ranking. The attacker still had a contract with Heracles until next summer, leaving Heracles with a modest transfer fee after his departure. It is not known how high the transfer fee is. Basacikoglu came in for Heracles last year, but was never able to force a starting spot.

The people from Almelo will be especially happy that one of the big earners is leaving the payroll with Basacikoglu. Last Thursday, on the last day of the foreign transfer window, the club announced the departure of another big earner with the departure of Sinan Bakis. The pair did not appear in John Lammers’ plans and were posted in the stands this season. Bakis came in Almelo’s service to eighteen hits in 62 games.
