Barcelona will be full this summer for the arrival of Marcos Asensio, reports Mundo Deportivo Monday night. The left-footed wing attacker will run out of his contract with Real Madrid in June 2023 and the arch-rival from Catalonia hopes to take advantage of that. The 26-year-old Spaniard currently has to do it at Real with limited playing time as a substitute.
It would be a painful switch for Real: the Madrilenians hoped to sell Asensio this summer for a nice transfer fee, but there was no real concrete interest. In the winter goes the Royal reportedly make another attempt to earn some money from Asensio. If that fails, Barça will do everything they can to take over the 29-time international from Spain for free.
