Nélson Semedo is on his way to the exit at Barcelona. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Sunday that Wolverhampton Wanderers is ‘one step away’ from pulling the right back. According to him, the English club has made a new bid Saturday at the Camp Nou, an offer that Barcelona is willing to accept. According to Mundo Deportivo the transfer amount for Semedo is around forty million euros.

Romano also reports that talks between the two clubs are in full swing. Semedo is expected to reach a personal agreement with Wolverhampton Wandererers in the near future, which Ki-Jana Hoever took over from Liverpool. The official presentation of the Portuguese winger will not be long in coming either, so it sounds. Under Ronald Koeman, Semedo does not have to count on a base place in Barcelona, where Sergi Roberto will have preference in the right back position in preparation for the new season. Romano also writes on Twitter that Arturo Vidal is almost finished with Internazionale about a transfer.

The position of right back has been a concern for Koeman for some time now. The Athletic reported Saturday that Norwich City has twice refused a bid for Max Aarons. The most recent bid was 22 million euros, but the Canaries want more for the right back. Reportedly, Barcelona switches to Sergiño Dest, although Bayern Munich currently seems to have the best papers to take over the international of the United States from Ajax. Recently, Arsenal defender Héctor Bellerin was also mentioned as a possible acquisition.

Barcelona says goodbye to Moussa Wagué anyway. The right back from Senegal makes the temporary transfer to PAOK Saloniki, so he knows RAC1 to be reported Sunday based on sources at the Catalan superpower. The rental contract with the top club from Greece does not include an option to buy. The contract of Wagué in Barcelona will continue for another three years.
