Robert Lewandowski is Barcelona’s top signing during the summer transfer window and it is therefore not surprising that demand for his shirt is skyrocketing. However, Barça fans who wanted to get their hands on a shirt of the Polish goal-scoring machine at the Camp Nou had to deal with a disappointment. For a strange reason, the club was no longer able to sell shirts with his print.

The Nike store at the Camp Nou has run out of stock as they no longer have a letter ‘W’ to print on the shirts. A video posted to Instagram shows a store employee explaining to a fan that it is no longer possible to print shirts with Lewandowski.

Barcelona presented Lewandowski as a new signing last Tuesday. Bayern Munich eventually agreed to an offer of approximately 45 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses. The new attack leader of the Catalans signed a contract for four years. His contract includes an escape clause of no less than five hundred million euros.

Barcelona played a friendly game against Inter Miami on Tuesday night (0-6 win). Lewandowski took part in the warm-up with his new teammates, but an unofficial debut was yet to come. For Barcelona there is another exhibition game on the program next Sunday, then arch-rival Real Madrid awaits. There is a chance that Lewandowski will have his first minutes in the shirt of los Azulgrana going to make.
