The May holiday is packed with matches in the major leagues, with a lot of matches scheduled in both the Premier League and LaLiga. For example, Liverpool plays at home against Tottenham Hotspur and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United plays at home against Aston Villa. Finally, Manchester City will visit Fulham in London.
In the Spanish league, Real Madrid must ensure at home against Almeria that they remain somewhat in the footsteps of leader Barcelona. The well-run Mallorca plays at home against Athletic Bilbao, for both teams there is a European ticket at stake. Sevilla plays an important game for survival against Girona and this also applies to Espanyol, which receives Getafe at home.
