AS Roma recorded a childishly simple victory over Empoli on Sunday evening: 7-0. Paulo Dybala was one of the standouts in José Mourinho’s team, which managed to score the first three-pointer of the season at home. The Argentinian star was responsible for two goals, opening his season account and giving Roma some breathing space. Romelu Lukaku also scored his first goal on behalf of i Giallorossi to note.


After just two minutes, Roma were awarded a penalty when Sebastian Walukiewicz touched the ball with his hand. Dybala shot the golden opportunity past goalkeeper Etrit Berisha: 1-0. The second Roman goal came from Renato Sanches, who nodded a good cross from former Ajax player Rasmus Kristensen into the enemy goal: 2-0. Even before half time, Roma was helped further by Empoli with an own goal. Alberto Grassi unfortunately shot the ball behind Berisha: 3-0. After the break, things got even worse for the Italian low-flyer.

In the 55th minute, Dybala was responsible for the fourth goal of the evening. The left foot received the ball from Bryan Cristante, cut out Sebastiano Luperto as if he were a pilon and controlled the ball into the far corner. The best goal of the evening was scored by Cristante, who defeated Berisha with a wonderful shot in the intersection about 25 meters from the goal: 5-0. Lukaku was also allowed to celebrate when he managed to convert a good through ball from Belotti into a goal: 6-0. The final score went to Gianluca Mancini, who was accurate from a corner kick from close range: 7-0.
