A big shock moment on Sunday afternoon during the match between Udinese and AS Roma. Roma defender Evan Ndicka went to the ground out of nowhere in the second half and immediately grabbed the area around his heart. Ndicka's condition appeared relatively positive as he appeared to indicate with a hand gesture that he is okay. There is currently still uncertainty about Ndicka's condition. Well know SkyItalia to report that the Ivorian is conscious and has been taken to hospital.

Roma, with Dean Huijsen in the starting line-up, fell behind through Roberto Pereyra halfway through the first half. The Argentinian took full advantage of Dean Huijsen's fumbling and chipped the ball over Mile Svilar. In minute 64, Romelu Lukaku made it 1-1 by heading in a cross from Bryan Cristante.

Not much later, Roma defender Ndicka suddenly went to the ground. The Ivorian appeared to be clutching his heart, after which medics rushed to him. Ndicka was transported to the changing rooms on a stretcher and trainer Daniele De Rossi immediately followed him.

It seemed to be not too bad when Gianluca Mancini returned from the dressing room a little later with tactical instructions. A little later, De Rossi also returned to the field. The coach looked a lot more upset and started talking to the referee.

Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi joined the meeting a little later. After the match was first temporarily stopped, then the news followed that the match had been permanently stopped.
