The selection of Ajax is starting to take shape in the run-up to the start of the new Eredivisie season. The Amsterdammers hope to strengthen themselves in two more places. It is not excluded that an extra midfielder will also be added. In the rear, Sean Klaiber and Lisandro Magallán have been told that they can look for a new employer, know The Telegraph. Perr Schuurs himself has indicated that he would like to leave.

The right back position is one of the places Ajax is currently looking at. With Devyne Rensch, Alfred Schreuder has only one serious option at his disposal. There is no future at the club for Sean Klaiber, who was brought to Ajax as a right back by Erik ten Hag. Klaiber suffered a serious knee injury last season and had to tolerate Noussair Mazraoui. The former FC Utrecht player has only played fifteen times in competition on behalf of the team from Amsterdam.

There is also no place for Magallán in Schreuder’s selection. The Argentinian still has a contract until next summer, but could possibly leave for free. Magallán puts a lot of pressure on the financial household with his salary, so that Ajax prefers to see him go. Ajax already leased the mandekker to Deportivo Alavés, FC Crotone and RSC Anderlecht. In the preparation he made playing minutes against SC Paderborn (90 minutes), Lokomotiva Zagreb (45 minutes), KAS Eupen (45 minutes) and Red Bull Salzburg (27 minutes).

Besides Klaiber and Magallán, Ajax is also open to a temporary departure from Mohamed Daramy. Club Brugge, among others, is in the market for the attacker who came over from FC Copenhagen. Schuurs is someone who has indicated that he would like to move. The central defender benefits from playing time, but is not a fixed value at Ajax and has Jurriën Timber in front of him in the heart of the defence. Interested clubs can get rid of Schuurs for around twelve million euros. The club wants to hire a worthy replacement upon departure, reports The Telegraph.
