Marcos Senesi has been included in the pre-selection of Argentina for the very first time, the Argentine Football Association announced to the world on Monday afternoon. In the World Cup qualifying series they will soon complete two games. A home game with Paraguay will follow on November 12, followed by an away game against Peru on November 18. In the short term, the final selection will be announced by national coach Lionel Scaloni.

Senesi has been a fixed value in the defense of Feyenoord for some time, which has meanwhile also noticed Scaloni. The center defender recently caused a sensation with a beautiful goal in the home game against ADO Den Haag (3-2). From just inside the penalty area he managed to score with a fabulous bicycle kick. The mandekker is now at 32 performances on behalf of Feyenoord. Senesi also has four youth matches for Argentina to his name.

In the pre-selection of the Argentinian team there is also room for Nicolás Tagliafico, Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala. The Scaloni formation got off to a good start to the World Cup qualifying series, with victories over Ecuador (1-0) and Bolivia (1-2).
