AC Milan has suffered a very expensive loss of points at home in the Serie A. The team of coach Stefano Pioli lost 0-1 at home to Udinese. Milan was not itself, although things were not going well for the team either. Marco Silvestri proved unable to pass, while Roberto Pereyra scored the final score from the penalty spot. Milan is third and has six points less than city rivals Internazionale.

Particularities:
Rafael Leão was immediately threatening in the opening phase, although Udinese came closest to a goal. However, Pereyra shot over disappointingly. Milan did not have an easy time with the visitors, although they almost cheered halfway through several times. Leão shot over, Yunus Musah met Udinese goalie Marco Silvestri.

Trainer Stefano Pioli was dissatisfied and sent Yacine Adli and Noah Okafor into the field. The latter was immediately dangerous, although his shot ended up just wide of the goal. The other substitute, Adli, asserted himself in a negative way. With a clumsy tackle he caused a penalty, which was taken by Pereyra: 0-1. Milan turned out to be remarkably powerless offensively, although they made a strong comeback in the final phase. Giroud shot into Silvestri and the final efforts did not yield anything for Milan.
