TSG Hoffenheim will not enter into discussions with Burnley to permanently acquire Wout Weghorst, it is reported The Telegraph. According to the morning newspaper, FC Twente is therefore in the hunt for the signature of the 31-year-old striker. Weghorst is still in England until mid-2025, which means the Tukkers must first reach an agreement with Burnley.
Hoffenheim has thanked Weghorst for his services. The 31-time Dutch international was hired from Burnley this season. Weghorst played a total of thirty official matches on behalf of die Kraichgauerin which he scored seven goals and four assists.
