Jack Grealish is impressed by Declan Rice’s goal against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night. Grealish saw his compatriot start an impressive dribble from his own half on behalf of West Ham United and finish himself. “Declan, I told you your speed should be higher in FIFA 22,” Grealish laughed on Twitter.
Rice contributed with his impressive solo to West Ham United’s first Europa League win, which made its debut in the tournament. The midfielder also impressed UEFA as he was nominated for Europa League Player of the Week. Mario Götze (PSV), Victor Osimhen (Napoli), Juanmi (Real Betis) also have a chance to win the honorary title, which is awarded based on votes from the public.

Grealish recently featured with Rice in a YouTube video of the England national team, in which the two players discussed their ratings in FIFA 22. “You know what’s just crazy? Your speed, man,” said Grealish, who saw Rice in the game a pace of only 66 has received. Rice himself couldn’t agree with that either. “I’m not slow. That’s the thing. I’m convinced they’re sitting in front of their computers and bored, after they’ve rated a thousand players. ‘He’s something in his 60s, he’s something in his 70s. Done.’ “
Grealish himself saw his overall rating increase from 80 to 84. “I love playing FIFA,” said the Manchester City attacking midfielder, who is pleased with his rating. “I’m certainly happy with that. My speed, shooting, passing and physical have increased, defense has remained the same. 88 for dribbling, very nice.”
