PSV must keep two stands empty in the Philips Stadium during the next European home game. On Tuesday evening, the UEFA disciplinary committee will come out with the penalty, which is imposed for the disturbances along the side of the field during the game against Galatasaray (5-1). In addition, the Eindhoven residents will be fined 1500 euros.
Boxes G and H must remain closed during the next European match. Those were the areas where unrest arose after Galatasaray made the connecting goal in the match in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. Director Toon Gerbrands is sure that supporters were involved in the disturbances along the field who are not season ticket holders.

“It is a pity that an entire profession is now being victimized by a few people who have sold on their season tickets. We will act against them. We look at season ticket holders who have resold the tickets to the Turkish fans of Galatasaray. This was forbidden. Those who are guilty of this will be traced and we will take measures against them,” said Gerbrands.
During the break of the match between PSV and Galatasaray, it was restless in the Philips Stadium. It came to a confrontation between supporters of both clubs, according to images that journalist Milan van Dongen posted on Twitter. The images show that angry PSV supporters running towards Galatasaray supporters. Earlier during the match, they had to be stopped by the PSV bench.
