Orkun Kökçü has a chance of a summer transfer to AC Milan. Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the father of the Feyenoord midfielder visited AC Milan together with an intermediary. There is no official offer for Kökçü yet.

Di Marzio reinforces the reporting with a photo of the two representatives of Kökçü in Milan. The 20-year-old midfielder’s father and middleman were according to Feyenoord Transfermarkt this week also in Rome to speak with Lazio about a possible transfer. AS Roma was also mentioned as an interested club and according to Di Marzio, Internazionale and Olympique Lyon are also in the market for Kökçü.

AC Milan is reportedly aware that Feyenoord is in serious financial trouble. For that reason, the Rotterdammers could be forced to let Kökçü go for a certain amount. For the time being, only the Turkish international’s position on a summer transition to San Siro has been discussed and no concessions have been made.

Given the Kökçü contract, which will run for another four years, Feyenoord has no urgent need to proceed with the sale. The midfielder has suffered several injuries this season, but is usually assured of a basic place under Dick Advocaat. In the current year, Kökçü scored 3 goals and 2 assists in 25 official appearances. Over his career, the counter stands at 10 goals and 12 assists in 72 official matches for Feyenoord.
